LBC Interview Petrie Hosken

Great to be invited back again to live interview on LBC Radio this evening for parent coaching tips. Petrie Hosken was discussing how we can avoid putting down an ex-partner in front of the children when a relationship breaks up; prompted by a current news story. Parenting is such a challenging journey and there’s so much scope for catching ourselves getting it wrong. What makes me passionate about parent coaching is the scope we have get back in touch with our own resources and values for how to get it ‘right’ in our own terms; and how to increase our self-acceptance so we allow ourselves to learn and grow with our kids.

Citi’s Maternity Transitions Programme wins 2009 Opportunity Now Award for Innovation!

Congratulations to Carolanne Minashi and the team at Citi on winning this award. Managing Maternity is proud to partner with Citi in this ground-breaking work. Our group coaching programme for women during pregnancy, maternity leave and on return to work was recognised as cutting edge and enabling Citi to view maternity “as a developmental experience”.

Opportunity Now Case Study reports: “For pregnant employees and women returners Citi has introduced three workshops, which it runs quarterly. The half day workshop for pregnant employees covers business planning for a structured transition with their Manager, the psychological and practical implications of becoming a mother, and information on relevant policies and benefits. The mid leave workshop has proven invaluable in helping women frame their return to work strategies. The post maternity workshop addresses how individuals can manage the balance of motherhood and returning to work. In addition to these helpful workshops Citi also provides one to one telephone coaching for women returners and executive coaching on the transition back to work for senior women.”
